We are seeking a strategic, hands-on leader to head our Economic Modelling department and join our leadership team. This role will let you contribute drive strategic growth and make your mark in the health economic world, by optimizing high-quality project delivery, lead people’s development, and contribute to overall excellence.

Your role as Head of Economic Modelling

In this role, you will be responsible for leading both strategic and operational aspects of the Economic Modelling department. You will work within the founder-led leadership team and have the following key responsibilities:

Departmental Leadership

Provide technical and content guidance to team members, coaching consultants in problem-solving and analytical approaches.
Implement and encourage best practices, ensuring continuous improvement in quality and delivery.
Be a thought leader, staying ahead of industry trends and promoting team expertise through innovation.
Align department activities with the company's overall strategy and drive growth in revenue and services.
Represent the department in internal leadership forums and contribute to company-wide decision-making.

Business Growth

Drive the strategical direction, winning tactics, client engagement together with excellent colleagues.
Identify new health economic opportunities within the life science community to expand our client base and offerings.

Project execution

Help project leaders to optimize project execution, from a technical and managerial perspective, optimizing multidisciplinary project teams from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Execute high value, complex projects for key clients while fostering a collaborative environment for team members.
Drive innovation in modelling using R, AI, and emerging HTA methodologies to applying or developing novel methodologies with your brilliant colleagues.

Looking for a Senior Health Economics Modeller

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Do you want to apply your technical skills and strategic insight to make a real impact on patient access to healthcare? If so, this Senior Health Economics Modeller position at Asc Academics could be the perfect fit for you!

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Health Economics Modeller to join our dynamic and growing modelling team. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, from early modelling and HTA submissions to global adaptations and payer tools, across multiple therapeutic areas and geographies, for large pharmaceutical companies as well as up-and-coming biotechs.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality work across economic modelling, scientific communication, project leadership, and business development. You will guide clients with expert advice and contribute to the continued growth and development of the organization. Your key responsibilities include:

Economic Modelling

Design, develop, and validate a range of health economic models including cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and early economic models.
Drive conceptual designs of model structures based on HTA reviews.
Perform statistical and quantitative analyses to support model inputs and assumptions.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
Develop payer-facing tools and interactive value communication assets leveraging model outputs.
Provide thought leadership incorporating R, AI and the future HTA.
Experience with health utility mapping is desirable.

Scientific Writing & Communication

Draft technical reports, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and global value dossiers.
Present complex modelling results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Contribute to publication efforts and conference submissions.

Project & Team Leadership

Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams from conceptualization to delivery.
Serve as the key client contact, providing expert methodological guidance.
Mentor and supervise junior and associate consultants.
Provide strategic input to internal process development and innovation.

Business Development

Support proposal development, scoping discussions, and strategic client engagement.
Contribute to expanding the company’s service offerings and client base.
